Southerland Farms

We took Jaylee to the pumpkin patch last Saturday. She led us safely through the corn maze, then we went on a hay ride to pick out a pumpkin. She picked a white one because we are growing orange ones in the back yard. It was a beautiful day!

First day of First grade

We were running late to catch the bus,

so I only had time to shoot one picture

for her first day of school.

She dresses herself, wants to buy hot lunch at school,

and rides the bus. I'm feeling a little "un-needed". :(

It does simplify our mornings though. :)

Bedroom makeover

I promised Jaylee I would paint her room before school started.

She wanted purple and turquoise.

So I got a little carried away and made over her whole room.

Now I'm jealous and I want my room done too.

How did I do? She loves it.
