Jaylee fell off the playground equiptment on Thursday. Her teacher asked me to come take a look to see if she needed to go to the doctor or stay at school. She stopped crying when I got there. She had an upset stomach the night before, and I thought she just needed to go home and rest. She was moving her arm fine but it was a little swollen. She wanted to go back to school the next morning. Tonight, (Saturday) I was pressured by Tara and Katie to take her in for an x-ray because she wasn't using it and it was still swollen. So, on our way home from Dad's birthday party, we stopped by Reliance. Of coarse, the x-ray shows it's broken. She said her hand is out of place too. I don't want to think about what that means. I'm calling the orthopedist on Monday. I'll find out what is going to happen after that.

That's no fun! Both my kids have broken their arms within the past year and a half. Jaylee sounds like Aubrey-- HIGH pain tolerance. Aubrey used her arm but said the wind hurt it when it blew... Who knew. Good luck and I hope she heals quickly.
